On March 12, 2025, NIELIT Noida hosted a UK semiconductor delegation at its Centre of Excellence, strengthening global collaboration in chip design and innovation.

The Centre of Excellence in Chip Design was inaugurated by Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY, at NIELIT Noida. The CoE aims to promote innovation and skill development in semiconductor and VLSI design. The event featured lab visits, live demos, and interaction with students and experts.
